In Bishkek, two rotary parking lots have been installed, costing about 7 million soms. This was reported by the city's deputy mayor Azamat Kadyrov at a meeting of the permanent commission of the city council, which deals with issues of municipal property, land provision, urban planning, and architecture.

According to Kadyrov, the installation of the parking lots was carried out by the municipal enterprise "Bishkek Parking and Stands".

"Currently, the parking lots are operating in test mode. We will be able to assess their effectiveness only after a year. After this analysis, we will decide on further steps. But it is already clear that instead of two cars in one space, ten can be accommodated. We are offering such solutions to both businesses and developers, as there is a noticeable shortage of parking spaces," he noted.

Deputy Kazybek Ergeshov expressed doubt that the investments would pay off in the coming years.

The vice mayor responded that the goal of installing the parking lots was to demonstrate to the citizens and the business community the possibilities of effective land use. According to him, there are already interested parties in the project.
