Council participants noted that drivers, for example, from Ivanovka or Kara-Balta, often leave their cars in the city center or at the market for the day. "We need to ensure that they can leave their cars near the former bus stations and then move around the city using public transport," they remarked.
Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev emphasized that the main task of the municipality is to create a comfortable urban environment. Among the plans is the goal of making the city convenient for pedestrians and providing the maximum number of people with the opportunity to use public transport.
