The State Institution 'Kyzmat' has introduced a new digital service for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Now, the option to apply for the exchange of the 2020 sample passport is available through the mobile application 'Tündük'.
The service is carried out in the standard manner — the document will be produced within 18 working days.
When you can apply online:
- the passport has expired;
- personal data has changed;
- the passport is damaged or lost.
New features of the service
When submitting an application, citizens have the opportunity to change the transliteration of their surname and first name into Latin script. Additionally, according to the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated August 20, 2025, No. 508, the applicant can independently decide whether to include a patronymic in the foreign passport. However, it is mandatory to indicate the patronymic in the ID card.
Uploading a photo
The service offers modern methods for identification. The photo can be:
selected from the phone's gallery;
taken directly in the application;
obtained at the ЦОН (Public Service Center) using a unique barcode (photography at the centers is conducted free of charge).
Photos must meet ICAO standards: with a white background, neutral facial expression, and without head coverings (except for religious ones that do not cover the oval of the face). The file size must allow for a photo size of 35×45 millimeters.
- To use the service, a valid cloud electronic signature is required. In case of questions, citizens can contact the call center at 119.
