The medical community and the residents of the country have come to the defense of the doctor
Nasir Beyshebaev, a nephrologist, has been released and is now under house arrest. This was reported by his lawyer, Evgeniya Krapivina.
This decision was made in the First May District Court of the capital, Bishkek.
For reference, the doctor was arrested on February 18. The reason for this was a complaint from the mother of a minor patient of the National Center for Urology and Nephrology (NCUMD), who claims that the amputation of her daughter's leg occurred due to the nephrologist's fault. In this regard, a criminal case was initiated on charges of "Negligence."
After Beyshebaev's detention, his defense began to receive active support from colleagues at NCUMD, other medical workers, and ordinary citizens of Kyrgyzstan. They pointed out the doctor's long work experience, the delayed appeal of the mother to the medical institution, and the fact that the amputation surgery was performed in Turkey.
