The girl was admitted to the nephrology department with glomerulonephritis at the end of 2021, following a coronavirus infection. According to doctors, she had thrombocytopenia, which subsequently led to arterial thrombosis. Despite the consultations and prescribed therapy, no improvement was observed. Ultimately, the surgeon decided to amputate the right leg above the knee. However, the parents took the girl and went to Turkey, where the surgery was performed.
