During the hearings on the capital's budget project, it was announced that Bishkek's revenues for 2026 will amount to 32.9 billion soms.
These funds are planned to be used for the construction and repair of roads, improvement of engineering networks, major repairs of social institutions, as well as for landscaping and greening of areas.
The hearings took place at the "Tunguch" theater with the participation of local residents, deputy mayors, deputies of the Bishkek City Council, and heads of city services.
First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baigonchokov noted that over the past five years, the city's budget has tripled, with last year's revenues amounting to 30.5 billion soms, which exceeded the planned level by 1.1 billion.
Residents actively asked questions about gasification, the state of sewage systems, road infrastructure, transportation systems, and social facilities. All voiced proposals were taken into account and forwarded to the relevant services for further action.
