The mayor of Osh held a meeting with dissatisfied businessmen
In the park named after Alisher Navoi, a meeting took place between Janar Akayev, the new mayor of Osh, and entrepreneurs dissatisfied with the demolition of their trade pavilions. The relevant information was provided by the city hall.
Representatives of construction companies involved in building new facilities on the site of the demolished ones also attended the event.
During the negotiations, Janar Akayev noted that his main priorities are creating a comfortable urban environment, protecting the rights of businessmen, and maintaining public order. He emphasized that any actions must comply with the law.
For reference: the previous mayor, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, issued an order for the demolition of trade pavilions and old trees in the park, aiming to make recreational areas more modern and safe.
