A garbage dump has also been organized nearby
On the shores of Issyk-Kul, a stone with ancient petroglyphs has been used as a toilet, and a dump has formed nearby. This was reported by blogger @stepanjaratman.kg on his social media.
The location is situated near the under-construction city of Asman.
The blogger noted: "This could be a national heritage. It should be protected and attract tourists, not be used as a toilet. Shouldn't this place be fenced off?"
To draw attention to the issue, he installed a warning sign next to the stone.
In the comments, users expressed the opinion that the petroglyphs could date back 2-3 thousand years and represent historical value.
One woman in the comments was outraged: "I brought tourists here. This is terrible!"
