It is reported that the asphalt laying on the parking lot of the market from the side of Osmonov Street is expected to be completed within the next two days.
“The area of the new market is 9 hectares, and construction started on August 25, 2025. Currently, 1,300 trading spots have been prepared for the sale of clothing. Additionally, the installation of 200 trading points at the fruit and vegetable market has been completed. The mayor of the city, Janarbek Akayev, visited the market and familiarized himself with the situation, listening to the issues raised by local traders. He noted that the requirements for relocating the markets will be fulfilled within the established deadlines,” the statement said.
It should be noted that the market opening is planned for March.
