At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Ismanali Joroev drew attention to information circulating on social media regarding the possible connection of Deputy Chyngyz Azhibaev's father with the criminal underworld.
This information has caused significant concern and discussion among citizens.
Ismanali Joroev emphasized that such news not only outrages the public but also deals a serious blow to the reputation of the entire parliamentary body.
"From this perspective, I believe it is necessary for the relevant state authorities to conduct a legal assessment of this information in accordance with the law. If the facts are confirmed, appropriate measures should be taken regarding both the position held and the deputy mandate to maintain citizens' trust in the authorities," Joroev stated.
Furthermore, it has become known that Chyngyz Azhibaev voluntarily resigned from his position as the first deputy speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh.
