A new composition of the Council of Ulema of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan has been elected

220 delegates from all corners of the country attended the kurultai.



At the IX Kurultai of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, a new composition of the Council of Ulema was approved, increasing its membership from 21 to 25 members. Zamir Kari Rakiev was unanimously re-elected as the head of the council, as reported in the press release of the muftiate.


The event was attended by 220 delegates from various regions of the country, as well as representatives of the presidential administration, including Azamat Yusupov, head of the State Agency for Religious Affairs, and Mufti Abdulaziz Kari Zakirov, along with other religious leaders.


The composition of the new Council of Ulema is as follows:
