Kaleb Kopytin, a young football player from America, will now play for the Kyrgyz club "Ilbirs." This information was confirmed by the team's press service and published on the Kyrgyz Football website.
Before his transfer to "Ilbirs," Kopytin played in several friendly matches for the Kyrgyz U-17 national team, where he managed to score a goal. To be eligible to compete in official tournaments, he obtained Kyrgyz citizenship and changed his sports citizenship, in accordance with FIFA rules for descendants of citizens of this country.
"Ilbirs" plays a key role in preparing players for the Kyrgyz U-17 national team. Many athletes with Kyrgyz roots, born outside the country, have previously played for the team, such as Kimi and Kaya Merkov, Alexander Mishchenko, Edgar Bernhardt, and others.
