Abdilashim Ormonov was born on December 22, 1990, in the village of Zhany Turmush (formerly Baul) of the Leilek ayil district. He grew up in a working-class family and received religious education at the "Tair" madrasa, where he studied the specialties of imam-khatib and Sharia.
In the field of work:
From 2014 to 2023, he served as imam-khatib at the "Baul" mosque.
Since the beginning of 2023, Ormonov has been acting as the deputy chief imam-khatib of the Leilek district.
Since October 2025, he has also worked as the vice-rector of the Islamic Institute "Abdullo ibn Abbas."
Abdilashim is fluent in Arabic, Russian, and Uzbek.
As rector, he succeeded Murzali aji Alibaev, who left the position of his own accord.
