Kazakhstan, particularly in Almaty and several other regions, law enforcement agencies have begun actively implementing unmanned aerial vehicles for patrolling streets and public spaces. This information has appeared on social media, where video recordings of the new control systems in operation are being published.

These drones, which have already unofficially been dubbed "neighborhood watch drones," are equipped with powerful speakers and light signals. This allows operators to make real-time remarks to citizens and quickly respond to violations. The police use drones to monitor the situation on the roads, in parks, and in courtyards, transmitting video data and coordinates to the nearest police departments.

This name has gained popularity due to the "public oversight" function, similar to the work of voluntary neighborhood patrols. It should be noted that in recent years, there has been a rise in the activity of such public organizations in Kazakhstan, and the digitization of control is a logical step in this direction. The implementation of drones is aimed at improving safety and the responsiveness to incidents in places of mass gatherings.
