At a republican meeting, the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlis Akunbekov, provided information on the state of the aviation industry.
He reported that the country's airports have acquired three airplanes for a total of 2 billion 385 million soms using their own financial resources.
“Plans include adding a Q400 model airplane to the fleet and acquiring two Airbus A321 units,” the minister emphasized.
In addition, Erlis Akunbekov noted that 8 billion 400 million soms have been allocated for the modernization of the infrastructure of domestic airports.
Currently, 11 airports are certified and operational in Kyrgyzstan.
