At the scene, local residents reported to the editorial office of Kaktus.media that as a result of pipeline damage, the pit filled with water, and part of the neighborhood temporarily lost access to drinking water.

In addition, residents expressed dissatisfaction regarding the lack of necessary permits for construction.

The appeal states: "It is unknown on what basis the work is being carried out. We don’t even have a site passport."

Response from "Bishkekvodokanal"

Representatives of the municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" commented on the situation, clarifying that the incident occurred during the construction of an additional building for secondary school No. 72.

“During earthworks, there was a soil collapse due to non-compliance with established standards, which led to damage to a 250 mm diameter pipeline and a water leak,” the agency stated.

As soon as the information was received, an emergency team was dispatched to the site, which conducted an inspection and took necessary measures to localize the situation.

To prevent further leaks, the pipeline was sealed off on both sides. Further work on relocating the pipe will be carried out by OsOO "Goha Group," as it is located in the construction zone," added "Bishkekvodokanal."

The enterprise noted that the supply of drinking water continues as usual, as the water supply system has a closed loop.
