Starting from March 3, a new electric bus route numbered 62 will begin operations in Bishkek. It will connect the "Alamedin-1" microdistrict and the "Kirkmostrom" stop.
According to the press service of the city hall, the new route will pass through streets such as Alykulova, Leo Tolstoy, and Auezov.
The launch of this route is part of measures to optimize the public transport system in the city.
It is planned that the update of the bus routes in the city will be carried out in stages. This is necessary to reduce traffic congestion on the roads in the city center. In the future, when changes are made to the bus route schemes, alternative streets will be used.
