The technical opening of the underground complex Old Bishkek took place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This information was provided by the company Tashbolot Holding.
Since the start of the complex's operation, residents of the city have been able to use the pedestrian passage connecting Shopokov and Abdrakhmanov streets.
Tashbolot Holding clarified that this opening is of a technical nature and is aimed at creating comfortable conditions for user movement.
Currently, the complex has six escalators in operation, and there are also ramps and wide corridors.
In the coming days, seven elevators will be put into operation, which will create a fully barrier-free environment, eliminating obstacles for the elderly, people with disabilities, parents with strollers, and other groups of citizens.
Additionally, a two-level parking lot with more than 250 spaces is in the process of preparation for opening, and with the improvement of weather conditions, landscaping of the above-ground area will begin, including greenery and modern lighting.
It should be noted that this complex is located in the city center, and its construction has repeatedly attracted interest from both the public and the authorities.
