In 2025, 105,530 cases were registered in Bishkek, which were considered by district courts. This data was presented by the Chairman of the Bishkek City Court, Talaybek Abykeev, at a meeting dedicated to the results of the local courts' work for the previous year, held by the head of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev.

It is worth noting that compared to 2024, the number of cases increased by 12,841.

Of the total number of cases considered, 8,204 were subject to appeal.

The Supreme Court also emphasized that 97,326 court decisions remained unchallenged, indicating a high level of trust among citizens in judicial decisions.

Due to the fact that judges' decisions were upheld by higher instances in most cases, they were expressed gratitude. Judges with low performance indicators were recommended to undergo special training courses at the Higher School of Justice, as reported by the Supreme Court.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev, also noted the suggestions and comments from citizens received through the QR system. The main issues highlighted by citizens included a lack of courtrooms, delays in case consideration, and instances of disrespectful behavior from court staff.

Following the meeting, directives were issued for 2026 aimed at improving the quality of judicial proceedings, strict adherence to procedural deadlines, and the establishment of unified judicial practice.
