Doctors expressed dissatisfaction with low salaries and working conditions
The work of medical professionals in Kyrgyzstan is considered one of the most thankless and undervalued. This viewpoint was expressed by doctors on social media.
One of the doctors shared her experience by posting a photo of her salary receipt.
“Here is my monthly salary, working at the city hospital on a schedule of 6/1 from 8 AM to 5 PM. With such a routine, there is no question of personal life. Every day we have to serve 35-40 patients, as the flow of sick people never ceases. In the evening, you return home, drained like a lemon, exhausted both physically and mentally,” – she wrote.
“How can one live on such a salary considering the current inflation?” – the doctor questions.
It is also worth noting that the authorities promised to increase the salaries of medical professionals and teachers starting from April 2026.
