In Osh, a bridge 85 meters long and 24 meters wide is being constructed, funded by the local budget; however, work has been temporarily suspended due to a lack of funds. Omurzakov expressed concern that if this project is not completed, the traffic problems will only worsen.
Moreover, he noted that many other projects in the city are also on hold. "Overall, more attention needs to be paid to our city," the deputy concluded.
Altynbek Kudayberdiev, for his part, reported that this year a new master plan for the city is expected to be approved. However, according to a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, no changes can be made until it is approved.
He also added that citizens are facing difficulties in obtaining permits to fence their homes.
