At the competition, Islam competed in the weight category over 95 kg in the "biathlon" discipline, using kettlebells weighing 32 kg. In the face of tough competition among the best kettlebell athletes in the world, he managed to demonstrate an outstanding result and take first place on the podium. Additionally, Narynbekov participated in the tournament as an international category judge.
“I compete not only for personal achievements but also for my country. Every title I win is the result of serious discipline and responsibility to those who believe in me,” the champion shared his thoughts. He also expressed support for his brother Nurlan, emphasizing the importance of family unity in overcoming all difficulties.
Islam Narynbekov hails from the village of At-Bashi and is one of the most successful kettlebell athletes in Kyrgyzstan. His achievements include victories at the World Championship (2024), the USA Championship, and the Pan American Games (2025), as well as medals from the Asian Championships and four titles of Champion of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Kettlebell Sport Federation of Kyrgyzstan noted that Narynbekov's success at the international level confirms the high level of training of local athletes and contributes to strengthening the country's position in the global sports arena.
