Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to Expand Academic Mobility for Students

Gulzat Isamatova, the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev.

According to the press release from the ministry, it was noted during the discussion that cooperation in the field of education and science continues to develop.

The parties emphasized that higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are actively establishing direct connections, implementing programs for academic exchange, and organizing joint scientific events.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening partnerships in higher education and science, including increasing academic mobility for both students and faculty, as well as developing joint educational programs.

In addition, plans for 2026 regarding joint initiatives and events were discussed.
