The Parliament adopted the bill on the ratification of the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Italy on the encouragement and protection of investments in the third reading.

This agreement aims to establish a legal framework for attracting foreign investments.

Today, during a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputies discussed the bill "On the Ratification of the Agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Italy on the Encouragement and Protection of Investments," which was signed on May 30, 2025, in Astana. This bill was adopted in the third reading.

The main objective of the agreement is to create a legal basis for attracting foreign direct investments.

In addition, parliamentarians considered the bill "On the Ratification of the Protocol Amending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014," signed on July 28, 2025, in Moscow, also in the third reading.

The proposed amendments aim to address gaps identified in the application of the law, as well as to clarify definitions.

As a result of the voting, the bills were approved by the deputies.
