The Ministry of Education, with the help of JICA, aims to strengthen the development of inclusive education

Recently, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Education with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), where joint initiatives in the field of education were discussed.

During the conversation, the parties outlined plans to strengthen inclusive education in schools, which involves not only improving infrastructure but also enhancing the qualifications of specialists working with children with special educational needs.

Additionally, the necessity of modernizing the material and technical base of vocational schools and integrating inclusive approaches into the vocational training system was discussed. An important item on the agenda was the development of competencies for educators and experts involved in creating methodological materials and standards, as well as implementing quality education monitoring.

Deputy Minister Lira Samykbaeva emphasized that Japan's experience in the field of education is quite significant. She expressed gratitude to the agency for its support and the opportunity for collaboration within international programs.

From JICA, Senior Education Advisor Murato Toshio noted that the agency is developing a five-year strategic plan, in which education occupies a key position. After analyzing the proposed initiatives, the main areas of cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan will be determined.
