
A corridor to Saudi Arabia was organized for their safe evacuation.
166 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have returned home after being evacuated from Qatar, including passengers from a cruise ship that was in Doha. This information was provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The ministry expressed gratitude to the authorities of Qatar and Saudi Arabia for their support, high level of organization, and productive cooperation, which ensured the safe evacuation of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The statement also noted that work on the evacuation of Kyrgyz citizens from Middle Eastern countries is ongoing.
Previously, Kyrgyz citizens arrived in Saudi Arabia via a safe corridor and then flew to Bishkek on a special flight from Riyadh.
