During the first reading of the bill "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Television and Radio Broadcasting," the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on science, education, innovative development, information technologies, culture, sports, and affairs discussed relevant issues.
Speaking at the meeting, deputy Bolot Saginayev noted that there has been an increase in negative news on social media lately.
"At the next meeting, I would suggest inviting representatives of television and radio companies for a detailed discussion on issues related to the negative information disseminated by our media," he added.
