The opening of the northern part of the bridge on Jibek Jolu Avenue in Bishkek has been postponed to the weekend due to adverse weather conditions. Earlier, the city hall reported that the facility was scheduled to be put into operation on March 10.
After the reconstruction, the bridge has significantly expanded: the width of the northern part has increased from 9 to 13 meters. Overall, the width of the bridge is now 34.3 meters, and its length is 25 meters.
According to information, vehicle traffic will be organized on the northern side of the bridge. The opening of the southern side is expected by the end of March.
Currently, work is ongoing to fully complete the reconstruction of the facility.
