The southern side of the bridge is planned to open at the end of March
In Bishkek, due to improved weather conditions, the northern side of the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue will be opened for traffic this weekend. This information was provided by the press service of the city municipality.
It is known that before the reconstruction, the width of the bridge was 9 meters, but after the completion of the work, this figure increased to 13 meters on the northern side.
As a result, the total width of the bridge is now 34.3 meters, and its length is 25 meters.
According to the city hall, traffic will be organized on the newly opened northern side, while the southern side will only be opened by the end of March.
