In the course of his communication with the hospital staff, the minister received information about the implemented electronic medical data management system. This system assists in maintaining documentation, tracking prescriptions and medications, as well as coordinating the treatment process, significantly simplifying doctors' access to necessary information about patients.
Damir Osmonov also visited the cardiology department and the angiographic operating room, where modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to the organ transplantation program. According to hospital representatives, the kidney transplantation program involving Turkish specialists started in 2023. As a result, operations have already been performed on 16 patients selected for this procedure.
Preparation of patients for the next surgeries is ongoing.
During the meeting, further steps for the development of the transplantation service were discussed, including the organization of new patient selection and planning of subsequent surgeries.
