Also present at the ceremony were the mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, local government representatives, and residents of the area.
The school project envisions a total area of 5,300.33 square meters and a land plot of 1.08 hectares. The educational institution will accommodate 650 students, with the possibility of expanding to 1,300 seats, and will consist of three blocks of a two-story building equipped with modern educational facilities.
In addition, Junushaliev reported that a project for the construction of a kindergarten in the same residential area is currently being developed.
Minister Nurdin Oruntaev added that the completion of the school construction is scheduled for September 2026.
The Ministry of Construction intends to build 20 schools in Bishkek:
- Oktobrskiy district - 6 facilities;
- Leninskiy district - 6 facilities;
- Pervomayskiy district - 5 facilities;
- Sverdlovskiy district - 3 facilities.
