The dispute arose during the discussion of bills aimed at combating drugs.
During the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee, which deals with judicial and legal affairs, law enforcement, crime prevention, and corruption, deputies Meder Aliyev and Ulukbek Karybek uulu found themselves at the center of a verbal altercation once again.
The conflict began during the discussion of amendments to legislation related to drug counteraction.
During the debate, Aliyev accused his colleague of populism. In response, Karybek uulu called for adherence to parliamentary ethics.
Aliyev, in turn, stated that it was his opponent who was violating ethical norms and "playing the role of a theater artist."
It is worth noting that conflicts have previously arisen between these deputies during parliamentary sessions, and after two such incidents, they were reconciled with the help of the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev.
