Sadyr Japarov: Next year, student rotation is planned

The president announced that students from northern regions will study in the south, while southern students will study in the north.

At a recent meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, President Sadyr Japarov outlined plans to introduce a rotation system for students next year.

He noted that at the last parliamentary session, some deputies attempted to divide into factions, but this was successfully prevented. Japarov urged his parliamentary colleagues to avoid such situations in the future.

"Division and fragmentation pose a threat to our state. I have long promised myself to eradicate this division that has existed for a long time. Over the past five years, such conflicts have virtually disappeared, and we have even forgotten that they once existed," the president emphasized.

Sadyr Japarov added that the rotation of akims, judges, and other civil servants has already yielded positive results.

He stated that a similar approach will be applied in the education sector.

"There will be 10,000 places allocated in budget universities: 5,000 for northern and 5,000 for southern students. As part of the rotation, students from the north will study in the south, and southern students will study in the north," he explained.

The president also added that graduates of the presidential schools Akylman are guaranteed to find employment after graduating from universities, which is enshrined at the legislative level.
