The central land plots will be transferred free of charge and are likely suitable for development.
A draft resolution regarding the free transfer of plots located at the addresses: Chuy Avenue, 108 and Kyiv Street, 55, to state ownership has been submitted to the Bishkek City Council.
According to information provided by the mayor's office, a letter was received on January 20, 2026, from the Office of the President of Kyrgyzstan (number 11/112) requesting the transfer of these lands to state ownership.
By the resolution of the mayor's office dated February 23, 2026, No. 52, previously effective decisions were canceled:
- the local self-government resolution dated December 18, 1995, No. 253, concerning the provision of a land plot for the "House of Artists" to the Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan at Chuy Avenue, 108;
- the mayor's office resolution dated April 15, 2002, No. 215, on the temporary use of a land plot for the administrative-production building of LLC "Areopag-Page" at Kyiv Street, 55.
The proposal states that these plots will be transferred free of charge for "comprehensive development and harmonization of the architectural appearance of objects and infrastructure of the capital."
