According to the mayor's office, a letter was received on January 20, 2026, from the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (number 11/112), which contains a request to transfer these lands to state ownership.
In accordance with the resolution of the Bishkek mayor's office dated February 23, 2026, number 52, the following decisions were annulled:
- the local self-government resolution dated December 18, 1995, number 253, granting the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic a plot for the "House of the Artist" at Chuy Avenue, 108;
- the mayor's resolution dated April 15, 2002, number 215, concerning the temporary provision of a land plot to LLC "Paging Company Areopag-Pejd" for an administrative and production building at Kyiv Street, 55.
In order to ensure comprehensive development and unification of the architectural appearance of the facilities and infrastructure of Bishkek, it is proposed to agree to the gratuitous transfer of these municipal lands to state ownership.
According to some information, these plots are planned to be used for new construction.
