According to the report, during the festive days, law enforcement officers carried out patrols and monitored compliance with public order. Constant monitoring of law and order was ensured in places where mass events took place.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs took all necessary measures to maintain security. Since December 29, the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Internal Troops have switched to an enhanced service mode, which allowed for the organization of duty shifts and operational groups,” the department noted.
It is worth noting that more than 12,000 law enforcement officers were involved to ensure public order.
