From November 24 to 26, in the Kara-Suu district, local police conducted an operation called "Teenager-Night," as reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department.

During the raid, law enforcement officers, together with the department for the protection of family and children, checked whether minors were on the streets without adults after 10:00 PM. They found parents and clarified the reasons for the lack of supervision. Then, they conducted explanatory work on the inadmissibility of offenses.

“The main task is to remind parents of the importance of supervising their children, to protect them from the threats of crime and offenses, and to provide proper advice,” the press service noted.

As a result of the operation, 52 minors were identified as being on the streets unaccompanied after the established time.

Protocols were drawn up against 22 parents, and they received fines under Article 74 "Violation of the requirements of legislation on measures to prevent harm to children's health, their physical, intellectual, psychological, spiritual, and moral development" and Article 102 of the KR Code "Evasion of parental duties."

Recommendation letters were also sent: 13 to local ayil okmotu and 7 to the education department,” the statement added.
