According to information from law enforcement agencies, several such establishments, posing as cinemas, created conditions for the privacy of visitors, including minors. The Main Department of Internal Affairs emphasized that the administration does not verify the age of clients and provides access to adult content (18+).
“There are grounds to believe that in some of these establishments there were instances of facilitating prostitution and debauchery,” the police added, noting that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 160 (“Facilitation of Prostitution and Debauchery”) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the inspection, more than 20 establishments under the "Antikino" brand were identified. According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs, these establishments do not actually perform the functions of cinemas and create conditions for intimate meetings. Additionally, during the search, minors were found, as well as used condoms.
