Representatives of local authorities and relevant government agencies checked the operation of the new pilot project at the Kyrgyz-Chinese border section.
Previously, this border crossing often experienced traffic jams, which sometimes reached a length of 25 kilometers. This created significant problems for the road infrastructure and negatively impacted the ecology near Lake Chatyr-Kul.

The new digital mechanism involves the preliminary registration of heavy trucks. The trucks will wait in a specially designated area called "Kara-Bulak," from where they will be gradually directed to the checkpoint.
This algorithm allows for:
- avoiding the accumulation of vehicles at the border;
- reducing the load on access roads;
- evenly distributing the flow of vehicles;
- increasing the transparency of inspection procedures.
The project is being implemented by the State Customs Infrastructure JSC as part of the Concept for the Development of the Service for 2026-2030.

Currently, the construction of an inspection and examination complex and the reconstruction of administrative buildings are underway at the 'Torugart' checkpoint. A new comfortable waiting room has been opened for participants in foreign economic activity. All these measures are aimed at speeding up the cargo processing process and increasing the transit potential of the country, as noted by a representative of the State Customs Infrastructure JSC.
