During his visit, the mayor also spoke with local residents living along the banks of the canals. He informed them about plans to install new barriers that will meet safety standards. Akayev also urged citizens not to engage in illegal land grabbing of the shoreline and warned of the consequences in case such cases are identified, noting that measures will be taken in accordance with the law, as stated in the official message.
