As part of his working trip, the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Damir Osmonov, visited the Center for General Medical Practice in the Issyk-Kul region, where he familiarized himself with the work of the institution and the progress of the construction of a new building.

According to information from the ministry's press center, Osmonov inspected the recently renovated intensive care unit, which has also been equipped with new medical equipment. He also learned about the functioning of the emergency medical service, which has a sufficient number of vehicles to serve the local population.

During the visit, the leadership of the Center raised the issue of the shortage of medical personnel. Osmonov emphasized the importance of a systematic approach to strengthening the human resources capacity and instructed the relevant structures of the ministry, together with local authorities, to develop strategies for attracting and retaining specialists in the region, including improving the working and living conditions of medical staff.

Similar issues were previously raised at the Kemin Center for General Medical Practice, where there were also discussions about the shortage of personnel. This same issue was discussed in the context of the state of the intensive care service.
