The main report was delivered by Zhyldyz Derkembaeva, the chief freelance expert in anesthesiology and resuscitation, a candidate of medical sciences, and an associate professor. She presented key performance indicators of the service, discussed staffing levels and the equipment status of medical institutions, as well as the main problems faced by specialists.
Damir Osmonov noted that the development of the anesthesiology and resuscitation service is of immense importance for the healthcare system, as this service is responsible for treating critically ill patients and supports the work of surgical departments.

As a result of the meeting, the minister gave several instructions to the relevant departments of the Ministry of Health:
- to conduct a detailed analysis of the staffing of the anesthesiology and resuscitation service by regions and propose measures to enhance the training and retraining of specialists;
- to ensure oversight of the rational use of high-tech medical equipment in healthcare institutions;
- to strengthen monitoring of the work of resuscitation and intensive care units.
