Deputy Jumabek Salymbekov noted that by December 1, 2025, the population of the country will reach 7 million 338 thousand people, and he raised a question about the growth of citizens.
A representative of the Ministry of Health reported that in recent years, the country has recorded about 150,000 births per year; however, this figure is decreasing by 2-3 thousand annually.
Nevertheless, the mortality rate among children under three months has decreased by 36%.The specialist added: "This is related to many factors, including changes in social perception. People prefer to stabilize financially first. In the southern regions, the number of births remains stable, while in the northern regions, there is a sharp decline."
