Kasymaliev visited the regional hospital, which was built in 1968, and checked the condition of the departments, as well as the progress of construction of a new building for 350 beds. The construction of this facility, consisting of eight blocks, is planned to be completed by 2027.
The head of the cabinet gave a number of instructions:
- to adhere to the deadlines for completing the construction;
- to provide young doctors with housing through state mortgages;
- to explore the possibility of constructing service housing.

During the visit, a project for an international medical cluster worth $150 million was also presented. This center, with 510 beds, will focus on the treatment of oncological and cardiological diseases, creating about 750 new jobs.
In addition, Kasymaliev visited the anti-plague department and the bureau of forensic medical examination, the buildings of which were constructed in 1894 and 1897, respectively. Due to their emergency condition and non-compliance with modern biosecurity standards, relevant services were instructed to consider the possibility of constructing new buildings and purchasing modern equipment.
