12-year-old Amir has been diagnosed with stage four liver cirrhosis, which requires immediate transplantation. His older sister has agreed to be a donor.

Firuzа Dusmakhmadova, the boy's mother, shares: “Amir has always been a healthy child, and we had no idea he had such a serious illness.”

The first concern about Amir's condition arose from his sister Erkehan, who works as a pharmacist. She noticed that her brother's skin had turned yellow after her shift.

“We didn’t pay much attention to it, as we were always around and didn’t notice any changes,” notes Firuzа.

Unfortunately, the disease was detected at its last stage, and there is almost no time left for treatment. “He complained of headaches several times, but we didn’t take it seriously, and if we had consulted a doctor earlier, the consequences could have been less severe. Now we only need a transplant. The doctors recommended doing it abroad,” the mother explains.

The operation at a Turkish clinic costs $50,000. The family has raised just under half of this amount thanks to the help of relatives and friends. However, they cannot cover all the expenses and have decided to seek support from the community.

“In the holy month of Ramadan, I ask you for help for my son. If the surgery is not performed soon, it could become critical,” says Firuzа.

Amir's father works as a builder, and his mother is a homemaker. The family’s income does not allow them to cover all the costs of the transplant and related expenses.
