The award ceremony took place in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, where the president of the Academy of Arts of the Turkic World, world-renowned artist and People's Artist of Azerbaijan, Sakit Mamedov, presented the award to Jakypov.
It is worth noting that Zhilkychy Jakypov is one of the most prominent figures in Kyrgyz art, actively participating in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions. He also holds the title of Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, in 2025, this honorary title was awarded to another citizen of Kyrgyzstan — monumental sculptor Turgunbay Sadykov.
