On March 13, as part of a counter-terrorism operation, law enforcement officers detained a citizen named "N.A." who arrived in Kyrgyzstan from one of the CIS countries. He is accused of attempting to leave the country with the intention of joining international terrorist groups. This information was provided by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
This operation was carried out in partnership with foreign intelligence agencies.
In connection with the ongoing investigation of the criminal case, necessary investigative actions are being conducted.
The SCNS also reminds citizens that supporting international terrorist and extremist groups is punishable by law.
