The city hall of Bishkek has announced the celebration of one of the most joyful holidays – Nowruz, which will be celebrated on March 21. On this day, a large-scale event dedicated to the spring equinox will take place in the central Ala-Too square.
From 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, everyone is invited to enjoy a vibrant and rich program full of traditions and cultural heritage. The square will become the center of cultural life, where ethnocultural yurts "Ordo" will be set up. Guests will be able to learn about the lifestyle and traditions of various ethnic groups of Kyrgyzstan, as well as enjoy their hospitality.
In addition, a special area for national games and sports competitions will be organized for active leisure enthusiasts. Anyone interested can participate in the competitions, allowing them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Kyrgyz traditions.
Exhibitions of folk and applied arts are also planned in the square. Masters from all over the country will present their unique creations, including national jewelry, carpets, felt products, and souvenirs.
To conclude the festive program, a large concert will be held featuring popular artists and creative groups. The audience will be able to enjoy both national melodies and modern compositions, as well as vibrant dance performances.
