Law enforcement agencies urge the population to maintain order, show respect for one another, and comply with the lawful requests of the police.
On March 20, the country will celebrate one of the most significant Muslim holidays. This year, the Ait prayer will take place exclusively on the premises of mosques.
Ait prayer schedule:
- 7:30 – 8:00 — religious narratives;
- 8:00 – 8:25 — welcoming words from imams and government officials;
- 8:25 – 8:30 — explanation of the procedure for conducting the Ait prayer;
- 8:30 – 8:50 — performance of the festive prayer.
