The prices for chicken eggs in the capital's retail chains range from 110 to 150 soms for a pack of 10. These prices depend on the category of the product, the manufacturer, and the location of the retail outlet. In particular:
In other large and small stores scattered across various districts of Bishkek, prices for chicken eggs range from 110 to 160 soms for 10 pieces.
The average price reduction was from 1 to 3 soms per egg.
As part of its work to stabilize prices, the Antimonopoly Service held meetings with representatives of retail chains and poultry farms, as well as conducted explanatory work on pricing policies.
During these interactions, agreements were reached on the inadmissibility of unjustified price increases, ensuring sufficient supply in the market, and adhering to the principles of fair competition.
The Antimonopoly Service will continue to conduct regular monitoring of prices for chicken eggs to timely identify possible price fluctuations and respond to them.
